Voice Over & ADR

We love what we do

State of the art equipment for Voice Over and ADR

The perfect definition in the voice-over process is achieved with a mixture of interesting elements. On the one hand, a suitable hardware for precise voice digitalization, and on the other, a space with the proper acoustic conditioning. Here at Óxido we have an Iso booth properly suited for it. It’s a space with capacity for two to three people, but with spectacular performance.

In addition to the equipment, we have a wide range of plug-ins for the latest in voice treatment.

Manley Core

Manley’s experience and insight working with the industry’s top recording engineers and musicians culminates in the CORE. Handcrafted in the USA, built like a tank, built to endure, the epicenter of your recorded art will be the Manley CORE.

The signal enters through our renowned hand-wound MANLEY IRON® input transformer with nickel laminations in a mu-metal can. The tube amplifying stage is the latest implementation of our famous Class-A circuit topology found in the VOXBOX® and Manley Dual Mono & Mono Microphone Preamplifiers. This all-triode vacuum tube circuit runs on a regulated 300 Volt B+ supply yielding huge headroom and relentless output drive capability.

Telefunken AR51

The large-diaphragm multi-pattern

The large-diaphragm, multi-pattern TELEFUNKEN AR-51 was created to bring the classic circuit of the ELA M 251E and C12 into a new, more affordable microphone. Featuring edge-terminated TK51D capsule, a NOS (New Old Stock) ECC81 / 12AT7 vacuum tube and newly manufactured Haufe T14/1 output transformer, the AR-51 captures the same clarity as its predecessors and provides similar sonic characteristics, with its own unique distinctions.

Neumann 102

SMALL, SMART & POWERFUL

The TLM 102 brings Neumann quality to even the smallest studio. Like its more expensive siblings, the TLM 102 combines technical excellence with a beautifully balanced sound for silky vocals, crisp guitars and powerful drums. With its cardioid pattern and an integrated pop screen the TLM 102 is a joy to use, even for novices.

Telefunken M82

Dynamic Series microphones

Following the same design approach as our other Dynamic Series microphones, the TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik M82 was created to cut through the crowded market competition to provide users with the superior alternative to the industry-standard kick drum and large-diaphragm dynamic microphones. Hand-assembled and tested in our facility in CT, USA, the M82 is a robust dynamic microphone that features a large 35mm diaphragm with superb low frequency capabilities. Like the M81 Universal Dynamic before it, the M82 derives its name from a series of astronomical galaxies first cataloged by the French astronomer Charles Messier.

AKG

C214

The C214 professional large-diaphragm condenser microphone has been designed as a cost-effective alternative to the high-end C414 family. Like the C414, the C214 offers a supreme one-inch capsule on an integrated suspension to reduce mechanical noise. A switchable 20dB attenuation pad allows recording of loud sources of up to 156dB SPL. A switchable bass-cut filter allows close-up recording with almost no proximity effect. The C214 captures sound by combining one capsule of the legendary C414 dual-capsule system and the patented AKG Back-Plate Technology, resulting in an outstanding performance close to the famous C414 XLII.

Sennheiser

MKH 416-P48U3

The venerable MKH 416 is a compact pressure-gradient microphone with short interference tube, highly immune to humidity due to its RF condenser design. Featuring high directivity, low self noise, high consonant articulation and feedback rejection, the MKH 416 can handle difficult exterior filming and reporting conditions without any difficulty. Supercardioid/lobe pattern, matte black finish, supplied with the MZW415 windscreen.

Sennheiser Lavalier

AVX-MX2 SET

The AVX-ME2 set includes a handheld microphone, a wired receiver and all accessories to operate on camcorders and DSLR cameras. Its digital transmission is fully self-configurable and makes radio frequency settings a thing of the past. Its ultra-compact receiver rotates around the XLR connector to avoid collision with other camera-mounted devices. It turns on and off automatically with the camera, thus saving battery power. The AVX perfectly matches the input sensitivity of the camera without having to adjust the audio level at the microphone. From professional wedding videos to documentaries, from street interviews to corporate videos, the AVX works as long as you can focus on creativity.

Voice in the Digital age

The power of plug-ins

The best plug-in for Voice processing

Wonderful Dynamic Range

HDR does not only mean more highlights in your picture, it’s a wider color range that allows you to tell your story with a wider color and contrast range. HDR is the future of image for TV and it’s growing exponentially. But nowadays, we must generate content that can be viewed in both HDR and SDR. That’s why Dolby Vision is so important, as it allows you to have both masters in a single container.
